Communicating with the PPS Team on the Client Portal

This tutorial will guide you through the process of communicating with the PPS team via the client portal.

Okay, in this video, we're going to talk about how to communicate with the PPS team here on the client portal. To communicate with us, you first need to decide or determine which episode or project you would like to speak with us about. Let's navigate to the projects page. This is going to be a list of all the episodes or projects that we have for your podcast. Now let's choose which one you want to communicate with us about. In this case, let's choose Best Disney Princesses. Now we're going to walk through a few different scenarios here. Let's say that we have finished a file. Let's say the audio is ready for you to review, and you want to comment with us about that. Let's scroll down to the final files section. If we expand that file, you'll see the final audio is right here. It's an mp3 file. If we click on this file, it'll open up a new window here where you can leave comments. You can use the @ sign to tag different members of our team. In this case, let's tag Brittany and say, 'This sounds great, approved.' Then we'll click on the red arrow over here to send that message. You'll see Brittany was tagged. And so that's one scenario that you might need to communicate with us about. A similar scenario would be that we have finished the file and there's a request that needs to be made, a change request. Let's tag Mike in this case and say, 'Mike, can you do anything about the dog bark at this timestamp?' Then send that on through to Mike just like that. So those are a couple of scenarios where you can communicate with us about final versions of files that we have sent you. Let's go back to the project page and let's walk through a couple of different scenarios that are going to not be based on final files, but rather raw files. For this case, let's go to the raw files. Let's say that maybe we forgot or you forgot to send us an ad or some other file that we needed to complete the episode. Let's first drop in that new file. I'm just going over here to my computer and I'm dragging in this new file that's needed for this episode. It's going to take just a moment for it to upload. There we are. And now you see the sponsor ad right here. Let's click on that just as before. This time we'll say Brittany. We can even tag Mike as well. Here's the sponsor ad. My apologies for forgetting it. All right. And then we'll hit the arrow right there. There's a few other scenarios here. Maybe you want to get a status update. In this case, just choose any of the files, it doesn't matter which one. Ask Brittany, 'Can you give me a status update on this episode, please?' All right. Press the arrow, and that comment will come through. We'll get notified, and we will comment back to you in the same place. These dialogues can happen right here within the comments, very similarly to how we did it on Basecamp. That's how you can communicate with the PPS team here on the client portal.
